What is Analytics and User Experience?

Analytics is analysing data generated from tracking placed on your website; your website may be tracked by your own statistical service such as Google Analytics, Omniture or AW Stats. This data provides us with information to gather an idea of who your customers are and how they are interacting with your website.

User Experience looks at the flow of your site, how accessible it is and whether it provides people with the relevant information to encourage them to purchase or contact you.


How will Analytics and User Experience benefit my company?

When used together the two can provide a great deal of information about what changes could be made to make your website more accessible to your customers and therefore generate a higher Return on Investment.

It will also provide you with more information about your customers, what products may be of more interest, identify products that have a high traffic but low conversion and may also help with other marketing programmes, for example looking for high peeks of traffic may be an ideal time to deploy an email campaign.
